ETP – Histology Vacuum Tissue Processor

Fully enclosed, “state of the art” featured, safe and highly reliable, the Intelsint ETP is the right answer for the day-by-day tissue processing needs of every Histology laboratory.

With a processing capacity of 360 specimens, three paraffin containers and an easy to operate HMI (Human Machine Interface) it sets itself at the top of the category.

Designed with the specimen’s safety in mind and operator ergonomics, the ETP is capable to perform in all environments.

Its fully automated RFD (Remote Fill and Drain) device allows the user a safe, clean and easy reagent renewal.

EFTP – Histology Fast Tissue Processor 
Fully enclosed, “state of the art” featured, safe and highly reliable, the Intelsint EFTP is the safest and most cost effective answer for the FAST PROCESSING of BIOPSIES as well as the overnight tissue processing needs of every Histology laboratory.

The EFTP is the fastest non-microwave tissue processor today available. Up to 360 biopsies can be safely processed in 40 minutes.
This result can be achieved with traditional reagents or with most of the Xylene and Ethyl alcohol substitutes available on the market.

The reagent heating is safely performed during their filling into the sample processing chamber without any delay by a patented device called EHE (Enhanced Heat Exchanger). Only three reagents (plus fixation) are necessary to successfully and rapidly process biopsies. Every sample is evenly warmed at the desired temperature from the beginning of each processing step. Any risk of overheating is avoided thanks to the special conformation and the multiple safety devices of the EHE.

SHUR/Wave™ Laboratory Microwave – Witness the latest step in the evolution of Laboratory Microwave Technology.
Specifically designed for fixation and processing of tissue samples, the SHUR/Wave™ can also be used for specimen stabilization and hardening, performing epitope retrieval and accelerating decalcification and staining. It has numerous built-in safety devices that protect the operator, specimen and instrument. It is also extremely user friendly, and even provides prompts that minimize operator error.

The SHUR/Wave™ has a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) that allows at least 30 programs, each with up to 12 steps, to be optimized, stored and run. The Proportional, Integral, Differential (PID) Controller monitors the temperature and works in conjunction with the PLC to assure that the production of microwaves is proportioned to maintain the temperature within your guidelines.

SAME DAY DIAGNOSIS UNCOMPROMISED RESULTS

Biopsy specimens can be fixed in 10 minutes and processed in 15 minutes.

Larger specimens require only 55 minutes for complete fixation and 48 minutes to 2 hours for processing, depending on the thickness of the specimen.

Routine specimens can be rapidly fixed to provide the necessary protection before processing or when lymph node detection is important during gross dissection.

Decalcification of bone marrow biopsies can be done in as little as 3 to 10 minutes, depending on the choice of solution. Decalcification time for large specimens can be dramatically reduced by hours or days.
